William S. Friedman

Bill Friedman has over fifteen years experience working with law firms, financial institutions, industry, government, and educational organizations. He has provided a range of consulting and training services to clients on the subject of work force diversity, team development, executive coaching, and organizational development. His involvement with client organizations includes both assisting them to begin initiatives and as well as continuing their efforts over the long term. Friedman has consulted to and coached executives, partners and managers and trained personnel at all levels.

Representative experience includes:

  • Senior level consultation to set strategy for long-term diversity initiative at a Fortune 100 organization.
  • Executive interviewing to generate support and input for initiative at leading manufacturer.
  • Conducted small and large group diversity training for employees at all levels in leading legal, financial and manufacturing organizations.
  • Development and delivery of a sequence of training programs to all supervisory and hourly personnel of an East Coast semiconductor manufacturer promoting communication, team work, and effective management practices.
  • Facilitation of senior management meetings during a crisis situation leading to resolution of conflict and direction setting for a high tech organization.
  • Delivery of individual coaching programs for senior managers covering such topics as personal style, meeting management, delegation, and performance management.

Bill Friedman holds degrees in Psychology from Harvard and in Organization/Human Resource Development from The American University and the National Training Labs. In addition to his consulting experience, Mr. Friedman has developed and presented training programs in Communication Styles, Managing Amid Chaos, Performance Management, Values and the Workplace, Win-Win Negotiating, and Leadership. He has delivered training through the Boston Management Consortium and is a member of the National Organization Development Network.
