Michele Rocray

Michele Rocray is a Senior Consultant at Eastern Point Consulting Group, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in helping organizations manage change effectively. Eastern Point offers expertise in the management of diversity, organizational development and strategic change management.

Michele has over 16 years experience in organizational development, instructional design and delivery, and career planning and development.

Prior to consulting Michele had twenty years of management experience at Merrill Lynch, Putnam Investor Services, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Fleet Bank (formerly Bank of Boston) and Standish, Ayer & Wood (now Standish Mellon).

Michele’s diverse clients have been located throughout the United States and the U.K. She has worked with employees at all levels in an organization and international audiences.

Representative experience includes:

  • Conducted an assessment of mid-level managers with the goal of developing employee relations and retention. All recommendations to the Executives were approved. Developed competency models, re-wrote all job descriptions, developed Human Resources policies, created a performance management and promotion policy, and designed and delivered a management development training program.
  • Designed and facilitated meetings for department managers to develop solutions on team development, business planning, work effectiveness, and organizational change for an investment manager with over $22.6 billion under management and an international records and information management company.
  • Designed two extensive financial planning training programs for a Boston based international consumer products manufacturing company. Both programs were delivered in the U.S. and U.K.
  • Trained staff of three newly acquired banks for a $30 billion banking and financial services company named “Best Managed Bank in America” by Forbes Magazine in 2004. Subjects included sales, customer service, products, compliance, and systems.
  • Facilitated diversity training in the finance, legal and hospitality industry.
  • Implemented a mentor program at a public financial services company with $707 billion under management.
  • Designed and managed corporate and customized programs in management development, sales, professional skills, performance management, and systems for a diverse client base including retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, consulting, and financial institutions.

Michele earned a Master’s degree in Training and Development from the Lesley University School of Management in Boston and a Bachelor degree from Wheaton College in Norton MA. She is qualified in Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory and DiSC.

Michele also does community service work for several organizations including Community Connections, which provides employment counseling and placement to nearly 500 adults and high school students with disabilities. She recently made a presentation at the Cape Cod American Business Women’s Association entitled “Celebrating Women in Business” and conducted two seminars to retail business owners at a national convention in Long Beach, CA.
